Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, followed by scheduled appointments. Though we can't always anticipate emergencies or cases that take longer than the scheduled time, we make a sincere effort to see scheduled appointments on time.

We can usually provide you with an appointment within 24 hours of the time you call, or sooner if the matter is urgent. Please call (207) 225-2726 or (888) 225-VETS to schedule an appointment.

If you are unable to come during available appointment times, a drop off arrangement may also be made starting as early as 7 AM Monday through Friday.

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Vaccine Policy

Dogs- Rabies, Dhlpp (distemper) Bordatella (kennel cough) and a stool sample to check for intestinal parasites must be current within 3 months.

Cats- Rabies, FVRCP (distemper) Felv/Fiv Combo test. A stool sample to check for intestinal parasites must be current within 1 year.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept:  Cash, Checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

We also accept Care Credit, which is a 3rd party billing service which will pay your pet's bill and then allow you to pay out the balance over time. Please inquire with the receptionist or check out their website at http://www.carecredit.com.
